Organisation Subscription Terms

Paid plan start, renewal, billing, changes, cancellation, failed payments and refunds.

Version 2026-09-02.1 · Effective 2 September 2026

Key point: monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrades are immediate and prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid period.

1. Scope and authority

These Organisation Subscription Terms apply when an organisation purchases a paid UJobs plan from UOMN VERSE LTD, trading as UJobs. They supplement the UJobs Terms of Use. If they conflict on a subscription matter, these Subscription Terms apply.

The purchaser confirms that they are the organisation owner or otherwise authorised to bind and charge the organisation. UJobs organisation plans are supplied for business use.

2. Starting a subscription

A subscription starts when Stripe confirms the first successful subscription payment or, if an expressly offered trial applies, when that trial begins. The selected plan, billing interval, price, VAT and renewal date are shown before confirmation.

UJobs does not currently include a standard free trial in checkout. A trial applies only where its duration and conversion terms are expressly displayed before subscription. Early-access or promotional access may have separate limits and does not create an ongoing free entitlement.

3. Prices, VAT and billing frequency

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance according to the selected interval. Prices shown by UJobs exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Stripe calculates applicable tax and presents the amount due before payment.

The organisation authorises Stripe and UJobs to charge the chosen payment method at the start of each billing period until cancellation. The billing portal provides available invoices, payment controls and renewal information.

4. Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically for successive periods matching the selected billing interval unless cancelled before renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the already-paid period, so access continues until then unless suspended for another lawful reason.

5. Upgrades and interval changes

An upgrade, or a change between monthly and annual billing that is not a downgrade, is intended to take effect immediately. Stripe calculates the prorated adjustment and UJobs requires the resulting payment to complete before granting the changed entitlement.

Review the billing interface before confirmation. If Stripe cannot complete the change, the existing successfully paid plan remains the reference plan unless the interface confirms otherwise.

6. Downgrades and plan limits

A downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. Existing higher-plan access continues until the effective date shown in Billing & Plan.

When the lower plan takes effect, its active-resource limits apply. UJobs may automatically archive excess operational resources using a consistent system order so the workspace fits those limits. Archiving does not itself delete historical data. Review usage before downgrading.

7. Cancellation

The organisation owner can cancel through the Stripe billing portal opened from Billing & Plan, or contact support if the control is unavailable. Uninstalling an app, stopping use or removing a payment method does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally preserves paid access until the current period ends. Records and public profiles remain subject to the resulting entitlement, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and lawful retention requirements.

8. Failed or overdue payments

If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it and request an updated payment method. UJobs currently applies a payment-resolution grace period of up to 4 days for monthly subscriptions and up to 14 days for annual subscriptions. This is an operational allowance, not an extension of the paid billing period, and may end earlier if Stripe marks the subscription cancelled or unpaid.

If payment remains unresolved, UJobs may restrict paid features, stop resource creation, archive excess resources, move the organisation to an available lower entitlement or suspend the workspace. Restoring access may require payment of outstanding amounts.

9. Refunds and credits

Except where required by law or expressly stated in a written promotion, subscription charges are non-refundable once the paid period begins. Cancelling does not normally produce a pro-rata refund or credit for unused time.

If UJobs charges an incorrect amount, duplicates a charge or materially fails to supply a paid service, contact support promptly. We will investigate and provide any refund, credit or remedy required by law or reasonably appropriate. Nothing excludes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Promotions and trials

Promotion codes, introductory prices and trials may be restricted by account, organisation, plan, region, redemption date or eligibility. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash or combined. If a trial converts automatically, the price, interval and conversion date will be shown before acceptance.

11. Price and plan changes

UJobs may change prices, included features or limits. A price increase for an existing recurring subscription will apply no earlier than a future renewal after reasonable advance notice, unless law, tax or a change requested by the organisation requires an earlier adjustment. The organisation may cancel before the new price applies.

We may make proportionate changes for security, law, abuse prevention, reliability or product development. If a change materially reduces an already-paid core service, we will provide the notice or remedy required by law.

12. Billing records and Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy notice. UJobs receives subscription, invoice, payment-status and customer references but not full card numbers. The organisation must keep billing details accurate and review invoices for errors.

13. Ending these terms

These Subscription Terms continue while a paid subscription or related payment obligation remains. Ending a subscription does not remove amounts already due, lawful billing records, obligations arising before termination or provisions intended to survive.
